Door recyclebare materialen op duurzame wijze te hergebruiken, kunnen we grondstoffen sparen, de behoefte aan nieuwe grondstoffen verminderen, afval tot een minimum beperken, energie besparen en de uitstoot van broeikasgassen terugdringen. Gezien de toenemende milieu-uitdagingen en de beperkte hulpbronnen vormt recycling een belangrijk onderdeel van het bouwen aan een duurzame toekomst.

Al decennialang leidt de wereldwijde schaarste aan hulpbronnen en grondstoffen tot de duurzame inzet van recyclebare materialen die opnieuw in de waardeketen worden opgenomen.
Met de CONTURBEX-zeefscrollcentrifuge ontwateren onze klanten bijvoorbeeld röntgenfilms voor de terugwinning van zilver, kunststofgranulaten uit autorecycling of HDPE uit de recycling van drankverpakkingen. Wij ontwikkelen de benodigde speciale sleufzeven of CONIDUR®-zeven voor ontwatering in eigen huis.
De zoutverontreiniging van afvalwater, bijvoorbeeld uit de energiecentralesector of de potasindustrie, moet tot een minimum worden beperkt. Dit wordt onder andere bereikt met behulp van Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD)-systemen. In deze toepassing wordt ontwatering uitgevoerd met behulp van decanters, SHORTBOWL-decanters, pushercentrifuges en CONTURBEX-centrifuges. Onze HSG-trilcentrifuges hebben zich bewezen voor het ontwateren van grof residu.
Fijnere zoutmengsels uit kristallisatiesystemen worden gecentrifugeerd met SHORTBOWL-decanteercentrifuges, pushercentrifuges en CONTURBEX-centrifuges, waarbij de temperatuur soms boven de 100 °C uitkomt. De hooggelegeerde roestvrijstalen, Hastelloy- en titaniummaterialen die voor deze machines nodig zijn, zijn voorzien van passende slijtagebescherming van wolfraamcarbide, stelliet of keramische tegels. In deze innovatiegedreven markt ontwikkelen wij voortdurend nieuwe en efficiëntere oplossingen voor coating-, hecht- en verbindingstechnologie voor onze klanten.
