The construction of a filter tube
A filter tube consists of a triangular shaped profile that is wrapped around the support bars. At each intersection, these two parts are connected by means of resistance welding. This method results in high mechanical strength with maximum permeation.
The V-shaped opening allows only two contact points. This prevents clogging and facilities the cleaning of the filter tube. We have a wide range of profile wires available from which the customer can choose according to their specific requirements. These profile wires must meet strict tolerances. This way, we can guarantee the highest precision and uniformity through the finetuning of our machines (e.g. perfect roundness).
We are always willing to actively participate in the customer’s thinking process regarding special or new developments and in order to reach a final product that fully meets the requirements of the customer. The major advantages of our elements are especially reflected in automatic cleaning systems, such as rewinding with the use of scraper systems. In addition to their use as direct separation elements, our filter tubes also find their application in a large number of processes where filtering plays the key role.
Quality control
In order to ensure continuous quality, it is necessary to continuously monitor the tolerances and the surface smoothness of the profiles. This type of checks is one of the aspects that lead to a permanent high quality in our production of precision filter tubes. In addition to our regular checks, our customers receive material certificates in accordance with the EN 10204 standard (DIN50049) if they wish.
